Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman, is a veteran of the super hero community. She has been an agent of HYDRA, S.H.I.E.L.D., S.W.O.R.D., and A.R.M.O.R., worked closely with the X-men and was a member of the Avengers; as well as being a bounty hunter and private investigator. She tends towards surly and snarky, with a dash of pessimism (she’d call it pragmatism), yet believes the world is worth fighting for. She can be reluctant to jump into a fight, as one of her chroniclers once said ‘Jess gets pulled into fights rather than leaping into them, but once she’s committed, nothing will deflect her.’

She stands 5’10” (178 cm) and has the build of an olympic level fencer or swimmer. She is heavier than she looks, however, due to her increased muscle density. She has black hair, green eyes, and pale skin. She loves butter.

Due to some genetic tampering while she was in the womb, Jessica has a number of super human powers:
Her body’s muscle system and connective tissue is greatly enhanced, granting her super human strength, durability, stamina, agility, and reflexes. Her body also heals about three times as fast as a normal human.

Her hearing is also superhumanly acute and she produces an excess of bio-energy which she can discharge as “venom blasts” whose potency can range from a static charge to that of a taser to even strong enough to knock a person unconscious. In theory she could even kill with this energy.

Her body can produce pheromones which can cause fear or attraction or repulsion, determined by unknown factors (i.e. what ever narrative need there is).

She is a skilled spy and detective, as well as having a number of high tech gadgets she carries or has access to.
